will do away with his designer clothes and start wearing handloom woven attires from now on

At least that is what the actor has committed to handloom weavers he met at Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh on Monday evening.
The actor, who is playing hide and seek with the audiences, is on a double mission, one to promote his film 3 Idiots and secondly, to focus on social issues, like the dying art of weaving. Aamir says he would be wearing handloom clothes and also appealing to his fellow actors to do so.
Aamir wants to highlight the plight of the Chanderi weaves and pledge support to their cause. He wants to rope in Kareena, who is a fashion icon, to support him in this endeavour. Kareena recently bought a Rs 25,000 saree from Chanderi.
